Police close A16 following serious collision

Lincolnshire Police News Story:

We are appealing for information after a man was found with serious injuries on the A16 Sibsey Road, Boston, near to Pilgrim Hospital. We believe this is a pedestrian who has been hit by a vehicle that has not stopped at the scene.

If you were in the area prior to the time this incident was reported (4.30am, Friday 17 October) please contact us if you have dash cam footage, or if you witnessed anything that might help our investigation.

Diversions remain in place whist we examine the scene and we are continuing to advise people to avoid the area. Pilleys Lane is the Southern diversion, and Willows Lane is the northern diversion.
